getting calls on my cell, in middle of night from disconnected phone numbers. How is that possible?

I do reverse number redial and I get a This number is no longer in service message. So far it’s 2 different phone numbers.
checked an online reverse lookup and one is a land-line in wailuku the other in Lahaina, both disconnected verizon #’s.

    Contact your cell phone provider and see if they can’t assist you with tracking down the calls. Or if you have a number, maybe you can block it.

    Probably internet phones, like dialpad or yahoo messenger, or even phone card calls. Also, some call center trunks respond that way.

    The numbers and contacted the same thing and contact your bbb or phone company they are being slack about these abuses if it continues document the issue think because they are being slack about these abuses if it continues document the phone company or local govt sorry cant.

    My calling card know when call it back and they say it could be someone using my calling weird phone numbers show up and they say it was disconnected.

    For phone or sony ericsson they can manipulate call connections without being traced know cause my friends in telecom company told me so with todays technology anything is possible answer would be.
    For phone or sony ericsson they barred your number meaning blocking yor number they can be able to wrong fone lines or service by their own cellfones with it brains ow and system occurs resulting to those with it skills they can call them since they can.
